Highlights from Wednesday
What an eager mission team! Half the group didn't want to wait for the 10:00am departure to get to work sites, so they left at 8:00am to get ministry projects done! Those projects included reassembling picnic tables, scraping and painting building exteriors, roofing, and much more!
Some work crews arrived back at home base after 7:00pm. We had our traditional local delicacies dinner where Hy gave us instructions on how to eat crawfish and crabs!

Jumping Right In!
Right after a southern fried chicken lunch, we rushed to a New Orleans regular event - a parade! This was the St. Patrick's parade. Over 60 colorful floats went by. Each float tossed out beads, carrots, potatoes and even full cabbage heads! Then we hit an evening service at a local Assembly of God Church. Wow! Tomorrow we begin various projects!
