The Mission Team Has Returned Home!

God bless all who prayed and payed us through our 5th annual Mission to New Orleans!  We thank God for the support of so many church members, family members and friends.

We place a final prayer request:  As we travelled today, flu like symptoms began to spread accompanied by terrible headaches.  Thanks for your prayers for healing!

Highlights from Wednesday

What an eager mission team! Half the group didn't want to wait for the 10:00am departure to get to work sites, so they left at 8:00am to get ministry projects done! Those projects included reassembling picnic tables, scraping and painting building exteriors, roofing, and much more! Some work crews arrived back at home base after 7:00pm. We had our traditional local delicacies dinner where Hy gave us instructions on how to eat crawfish and crabs!
